Beyoncé and Ed Sheeran Perform ‘Drunk in Love’ at Global Citizen Festival
Music superstars including Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Pearl Jam, and
Beyoncé came together to call for an end to extreme poverty at the 2015
Global Citizen Festival in New York City on Saturday. During the
multi-hour concert, which was broadcast live on MSNBC, Queen Bey took
over the Great Lawn in Central Park to deliver a mesmerizing set of hits
including “Crazy in Love,” “Single Ladies,” and “7/11.”
Ed Sheeran also appeared to duet on an acoustic version of “Drunk in Love.” “I want to bring out someone I respect so much,” said Bey while introducing the red-haired crooner.
With Ed on guitar, Bey belted out the lyrics over a stripped-down melody.
